You know, I often let my heart go, sort of like a kite. I send it off into the air, yet keep it somewhat tethered to myself. I let the winds take it, and I watch it floating there, all visceral and beautiful, like hearts are apt to be.
I sent my heart flying above you, once. But I don’t think you saw it. I don’t think you noticed.
Never stopped me, though. From sending my heart aloft. I still do it.
And, it’s still beautiful.
